Today was the big feast of Santo Tomas in San Sebastian. We went with Iker and a group of his friends. As it is with Santo Tomas, there was much to eat and drink. Talk about peer pressure... "Toma toma toma." was the phrase of the day. "Partake partake partake." And we did, Txakoli (cha-coe-LEE), or green wine, the txistorra, and as much cider as we could drink (thank God for the great bus system... you get a little, ahem, "tired" and you just hop on a bus).
It was great time, the massive crowds, the wet streets (reminded me of the frat house Sunday morning), the lights, Christmas music, food, merriment, and good company. What more could you want?
